Hedy is
a retired school teacher who graduated from UCLA. She has lived in California
since her teens and enjoys painting outdoors. She paints both in the mountains
of Big Bear and along the Laguna coast.
California
light and color has influenced her unique and interesting watercolor paintings.
Her interest in design and space bring order to her composition. Hedy has
studied under Don Hendricks, Robert Wood and Roger Armstrong.
She has
won numerous awards and her work appears in private collections both here
and abroad. One of her paintings hangs in the permanent collection in the
La Habra City Hall. |
